Michael McKeever, “Mike” and Lawrence Russolino, “Larry” didn’t just set out to create another butcher shop- they envisioned a place where tradition meets innovation, and quality comes first. What started as a conversation at a family dinner and their mutual love for food, turned into the creation of Barrington Butchery. Mike’s expertise as a butcher, combined with Larry’s culinary passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience, led to their mission. Barrington Butchery brings responsibly sourced meats to their community and revived the tradition of a local butcher shop with a modern twist; combining old world techniques with a focus on personal customer service.

Mike is a highly-skilled butcher with a lifetime of experience. Growing up in his family-owned IGA in Warwick, McKeever’s Market, Mike first learned the trade that he grew to know and love. After the family store was sold, Mike went into retail butchering at a large supermarket chain for almost 15 years.  

Larry is a proud graduate of the first culinary class at Johnson & Wales University. Not only does he have extensive experience, but he also loves to share his knowledge with his customers. He even shares his grandmother’s recipe for meatballs; available at the store Thursday through Saturday. Aside from inquiring about the quality of our hand-picked products for sale - chickens, turkey, pork, beef and other specialty items - don’t forget to ask Larry about the best way to prepare them!
